Back in 2015, the United Nations set out a blueprint of 17 Sustainable Development goals to radically transform our economies and societies. To deliver this promise, we must and with urgency, rethink our definition and practice of leadership.
Our current leaders are charged with creating a sustainable future worthy of all our grandchildren and their grandchildren too. Sustainable leadership is co-creating futures with multiple stakeholders. It’s seeking collaboration, embracing continually changing dynamics and bringing greater consciousness to the impact of decision-making.

Kate Richardson-Walsh OBE
Kate Richardson-Walsh, is the most capped female hockey player in her country's history, and was captain of the GB and England women’s hockey teams for 13 years.
An inspirational and charismatic leader she has been widely credited for helping build the incredible team ethos and commitment that drove the GB team to a nail biting victory at the Rio Olympic Games.
In winning gold Kate also made history in other ways, becoming one half of the first same-sex married couple to win an Olympic medal playing in the same team.

What is the IWD about?
On 8th March every year, International Women's Day is celebrated globally
Here at The WLA, we mark this occasion with our biggest event of the year. We celebrate equality and bring you live interactive debates and discussions on the issues facing leaders today.
For the last seven years, hundreds of leaders have joined this event to learn what's new, what's different, what's working NOW in the gender diversity and leadership space. Now it's your turn. If you are a leader in business then this is the MUST attend event of 2022.
This year, it will be a 1 DAY IN-PERSON EVENT, where you will have the opportunity to hear about tested, proven tactics by experts across a range of fields that you will be able to apply to your career.
